From classrooms to fashion

I've always been a teacher at heart. I studied a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts and went on to complete a Master of Education in Management and Leadership at the University of Sydney. I've spent years learning how to make complicated things make sense. Along the way, I also worked as a professional commercial model.

When the pandemic hit, like a lot of people, I started asking what was next. I have always loved clothes, and so I started writing and editing about fashion for publications and brands at home and abroad.

The more I wrote, the more I realised that most people have no idea how their clothes are made, who makes them, how to get the most out of their wardrobe, and what goes on behind the scenes of the fashion industry. I started About Your Clothes to explore exactly that.

Connected by Clothes evolved from the same instinct. What began as a year-long clothing drive has become a volunteer-run initiative that has shifted more than 2,000 garments to Dress for Success across Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

In 2025/26, I held the title of International United Ms. Australia and National Ambassador for the International United Miss pageant. I'm the only Australian in the pageant's history to place in the top 5, and I did it two years in a row, as 2nd runner-up in 2025 and 4th runner-up in 2026.

Now, I'm focused on a singular mission. I make fashion make sense for as many people as possible, wherever they are in the world. Whether it's through sustainable fashion education, learning how to style what they already own, or creating social impact through supporting women into work with global clothing drives, I believe that the power to make a difference lies not only in our wardrobes, but in our ability to influence the greater good, one outfit at a time.
